Mukutmanipur is a small town in
Bankura district of West Bengal, India. It is located at the
confluence of the Kangsabati and Kumari rivers close to the
Jharkhand border. A vast water reservoir and the second biggest
earthen dam in India has been constructed at the junction of the
river Kangsabati and Kumari, the hill, forest and vast water all

Bishnupur famous for its"terracotta"temples the classical dhrupad of
Bishnupur gharana still reverberat through the temples. Rasmandha
(C1600A.D.) the Sharmai temple (1643) with its Pancharatna,
Jore-Bunglow (1655), The Madonmohan temple are famous for

Day 1: Arrival at Kolkata, transferred to Hotel, Night stay at
Kolkata.
Day 2: Journey stat from Kolkata to Bankura, reaching there,
transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit to Clay doll making village.
Day 3: Transfer to Mukutmanipur, on route visit Susunia and
Biharinath Hills. afternoon travel to Talberia, Jhilimili, Sutan
Day 4: Boating in the water reservoir and sight seeing. Night Stay
at Mukutmanipur.
Day 5: Transfer to Bishnupur Hotel, afternoon visit to its
terracotta temple. Night stay at Bishnupur.
Day 6: Drive to Joyrambati (Birth place of Ma Saroda), then further
drive to Kamar Pukur (birth place of Ramkrishna Dev) then back to
hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.
